Two employees were shot this morning during a robbery at a pizza shop in the 1000 block of Aragona Blvd.
Around 2 a.m., a man went into the store and charged around the counter and shot one of the employees after being told the shop was closed, police wrote in a news release. He charged a second employee and shot him while demanding money.
The employee gave the man some money and he fled the store.
The employees suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The man was described as white, 40-45, 140-160 pounds with a thin build. He wore a gray, orange and blue polyester jacket, khaki pants, a gray winter trapper hat and plastic sunglasses.
