Two men have been arrested over the shooting of a security guard in Sydney's west.
The 63-year-old man was shot several times outside the Berala Hotel after picking up its takings earlier this month.
Two men escaped with the cash, leaving him fighting for his life.
Detective Superintendent Luke Moore says police arrested two men this morning.
"I anticipate that the two men, the 35-year-old and the 40-year-old will later on be charged with attempted murder in relation to the incident at the Berala car park," he said.
"Also with a number of serious armed robbery and related offences."
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man and expect to charge him over an illegal firearm.
The security guard is recovering from his injuries and has been released from hospital.
