ASHLAND, Miss. (WTVA) -- Authorities in Ashland say a suspect remains at large after the armed robbery of a Dollar General Saturday night.
Investigator David Murphy said it happened at approximately 9:40 p.m.
Murphy said a suspect entered the store on Ripley Avenue and robbed the clerk at gunpoint, making off with an undetermined amount of cash.
He said another recent liquor store robbery that night in neighboring Marshall County may have also been related to the one in Ashland, but they're unsure at this point.
Murphy said they're looking for a male suspect, 5'8", 140 pounds, wearing a blue hoodie with dark jeans and black shoes.
He also reportedly wore camoflauge gloves.
Murphy said they will be reviewing surveillance footage to determine if they got a photograph of the suspect.
Authorities believe he's still considered armed and dangerous.
