Police are looking for the men who broke into a house in an armed home invasion-robbery near Georgetown University early Saturday.
Three suspects, including at least one armed with a handgun, entered the house on the 3500 block of S Street NW at about 1 a.m., according to the Georgetown Department of Public Safety. Georgetown students and others live in the house, the department said, and the intruders were looking for a non-student who was not in the house at the time.
District police said the men demanded drugs and money.
The robbers took three laptops and other electronic devices from the home before fleeing.
Two people in the home suffered minor injuries. One was forced to search the home with the suspects at gunpoint, D.C. police said.
According to D.C. police, one suspect is described as black, 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 to 170 pounds. He has a dark complexion and medium build and was last seen wearing a black jacket and pants. Another man is described as black, 18 to 22 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. He has a light complexion and medium build and was last seen wearing black pants, a gray shirt and a jacket. The third suspect is described as black, 18 to 24 years old and 160 to 170 pounds. He has a medium complexion and medium build and was wearing a black jacket and pants.
